A tune-up is how you get back to that “quiet and easy” bike. We go through the parts that affect feel and safety first: brakes, shifting, wheels, bolts, and contact points. The goal is simple. Your bike should track straight, stop confidently, shift cleanly, and feel predictable every time you throw a leg over it.

Most ride-ruining problems start here: rubbing brakes, weak stopping power, skipping gears, ghost shifts. We diagnose the cause (cable tension, housing friction, worn pads, bent derailleur hanger, contaminated rotors, etc.) and fix it the right way, not just “good for today.” You leave with controls that feel crisp, quiet, and trustworthy, especially when you need them.

We inspect chain and cassette wear, clean or replace what’s needed, and tune shifting so it stays consistent under load. E-bikes ride best when the mechanical side and the system side are both in sync. We handle the normal wear items (brakes, drivetrain, tires) and check the basics of the motor system so you’re not chasing intermittent issues. If something feels off, we’ll narrow it down to the likely cause and tell you what’s required next, whether it’s a simple adjustment, a software-level check, or a specific part.

Where to Find Us
We’re in downtown Chico at 515 Main Street, not far from the edge of Bidwell Park, next door to the historic Senator Theatre.
Prefer the old-fashioned way? If you’re coming in on Highway 99, head toward downtown and follow signs for Bidwell Park. Once you’re near the park and the downtown street grid, you’re basically here. If you’re coming from Highway 32, just stay on the main road into town until you hit downtown, then work your way over to Main Street.
There’s usually street parking nearby, and it’s easy to roll up by bike. If getting your bike here is the hard part, you can also book service online and choose pick-up and delivery.
