Greenline Cycles ("we") runs greenlinecycles.com and the bike shop at 515 Main Street, Chico, CA 95928. This page explains what information we collect through the website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Information you give us. When you fill out our service request form, we collect your name, email, phone number, how you'd like us to reach you, details about your bike and the repair, and your address if you need pickup or delivery. When you email, call or text us, we receive whatever you send.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar tools to see how the site is used: pages visited, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, and how you found us. We use Squarespace's built-in analytics and Google Analytics for this.

How we use it

  • To schedule, perform and follow up on service, rentals, pickup and delivery
  • To answer your questions
  • To send news and offers, only if you check the sign-up box or ask to join our list. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it

We do not sell your personal information or share it for other companies' advertising.

Services we rely on

Some features are run by other companies, which handle your information under their own privacy policies:

  • Squarespace (website hosting, forms and analytics)
  • Google (Analytics, Maps, and the Google Calendar page used to book service)
  • Hubtiger (bike rental bookings)
  • Ikeono (the "Text us" button)
  • YouTube, Facebook and Instagram (embedded video and links to our pages)

We may also share information when the law requires it.

Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most of the site will still work. To opt out of Google Analytics on every site, use Google's opt-out browser add-on. Our site does not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals because there is no common standard for them yet.

Keeping your information safe

We keep customer and service records as long as we need them to serve you and run the business, and we take reasonable steps to protect them. No website or email system is perfectly secure.

Children

Our website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information online.
